Seafood Paella

Posted by Jewel in , ,

This image is the Filipino Style Paella

This is a Spanish recipe that I have used several times.  It is an inspiration from a couple of lunch I had in the city.  B-44, by far, has the best seafood paella.  Paella preparation and cooking instructions are not difficult to follow.  This is a very flavorful dish, rich in taste and definitely very filling.  Paella is great if you just want to relax and have a one dish meal.  Accompany this dish with white wine.

Palabok

I like palabok, a noodle dish very popular in the Philippines. The simplicity of the dish is enhanced by the smoky flavor from smoked milkfish (tinapa), shrimps, the roasted minced garlic and the crushed pork cracklings. The sauce is key to palabok. It should be made from broth with shrimp heads and fish sauce.
